“There was no doubt that interest in the club’s products would increase because of the documentary, but even the most optimistic projections did not reach the above levels,” read a statement from the club. .
The “rebound” of McElhenney and Reynolds can also be assessed on the club’s social media platforms, with the National League outfit expected to surpass one million followers across all accounts before the series ends.
A new interest in the club’s history has seen 147,000 subscribers added since the start of the show, representing a 20% increase.
