Seattle’s First Combination Barber and Bottle Shop Opens in Phinney Ridge – My Ballard

Seattle’s first business combining barber services with free drinks and a curated bottle store, The Bottle and the Barber, opened on Phinney Ridge on January 3.

Combining his love for craft beer with his five years of experience as a barber, founder Cameron Dean decided to bring this unique concept to the neighborhood.

“I make the two experiences co-exist, and not just enjoying a beer or glass of wine while getting a haircut, but also being able to walk in and browse a nice selection of beers to go, so you get the best of both worlds,” Dean said.

The Barber Shop is located at 706 NW 70th St. across from The Barking Dog Alehouse offering barber services as well as complimentary beverage and a selection of craft beers, ciders and wines available to go.

“It’s a place where people come together. It’s a space where people can share ideas, and it’s community-centric. People like to talk about craft beer, and they like to sit down and have a drink together and talk about things. So it’s also a very community-driven thing,” Dean said.

The Bottle And The Barber is currently in its soft opening phase, open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Barber services are fully operational and come with a chill.

Beer and wine sales are expected by mid-March when Dean plans to hold a grand opening. More details will be announced on the store’s Instagram, @labouteilleetlebarbier.

“I’m excited to share my craft beer knowledge with other like-minded people while providing quality barbering service,” Dean said.
