Pure Green, a cold-pressed smoothie and juice bar, opened its first store in New Jersey as it expands in the United States.
The new location is in the Mercer Mall on Route 1 in Lawrenceville. Pure Green’s offerings include “immunity-boosting cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, superfood smoothies, acai and pitaya bowls, and more.” Okay, I don’t know what some of these things are, but I’m sure they’re meant to be good for you. Some of their other offerings are steel cut oatmeal bowls, superfood toast, and juice cleaners.
According to the Pure Green website, âWe source the most nutrient-dense superfoods on the planet and formulate them into products of unmatched taste. They say their mission is to “build communities around the world by connecting people with superfoods.”
Russ Franklin, Founder and CEO of Pure Green told NJ.com, âAll of this is happening at a time when consumers are increasingly aware of their health due to the ongoing pandemic. We can’t wait to bring our immunity boosting menu options, filled with real whole ingredients, to the Princeton area. “
Pure Green was founded in 2014 in New York and has since expanded to 19 nationwide locations, with 30 more should open by the end of the year. âNo one predicted the impact COVID-19 would have on the restaurant industry in 2020,â Franklin said. âWith many companies forced to close their doors, we were fortunate not only to weather the storm, but also to experience tremendous expansion with the support of industry partners, angel investors and fans. “
